For the second year running purestone have made the short-lists at the B2B Marketing Awards – the most prestigious and recognised awards in the B2B marketing calendar. This follows the success of 2011 where, at the first time of asking, purestone won ‘Best Digital Campaign’ for its work with financial services brand Lombard. This year purestone have been short-listed in two categories – ‘Most Commercially Successful Campaign’ & ‘Best Limited Budget Campaign’ – for work carried out with 2e2 and Lombard respectively.
James Smee, co-founder of purestone, attended the awards short-list announcement party last week and was delighted with being named a finalist on two counts “We knew it would be a tall order to get short-listed again, especially in light of the guys at B2B announcing a 20% increase in applicants. We knew our entries were strong but you have no idea what you’re up against, therefore to see our name in black and white not once but twice felt incredibly gratifying. So much hard work has collectively gone into these campaigns, we’ve worked very closely with both Lombard and 2e2 to get things right and get things delivering significant returns.
