IMechE on Demand:

IMechE is building its collection of work in the creation of video content. Purestone worked with the institution to broaden the reach of its events programme and expand revenue channels by selling video packages for their events. These videos were displayed on a video platform within imeche.org called IMechE on Demand. This was developed with the aim of providing live streaming of events and highlights of conferences and seminars to be made available for free for event delegates and users to subscribe to. The On Demand platform was built to tie into all of the institution’s existing event systems so that once a user logged in the information displayed was personalised enabling them to view recently watched, recently attended and recommended content.

Purestone developed a video platform which was fully integrated with the Bright Cove video hosting service which pulled the videos through to display on the site.

IMeche.org Reskin:

Purestone also worked in conjunction with IMechE on a separate project to create a new web solution based on IMechE’s existing Sitefinity CMS that would allow them to effectively and easily manage website content. The existing website required restyling to make it responsive in line with the new company branding. Secondary to this, Purestone looked to create a highly engaging and intelligent user experience that would facilitate a rewarding journey across customers and differentiate IMechE from its competitors.

The old website imeche.org sat on a Sitefinity CMS and Purestone worked with the internal web development team to ensure integration with systems like database and CRM and the video hosting solution.
